Psalm 92:1-5 NLV: 1 It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and sing praises to Your name, O Most High. 2 It is good to tell of Your loving-kindness in the morning, and of how faithful You are at night, 3 with harps, and with music of praise. 4 For You have made me glad by what You have done, O Lord. I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands.
5 How great are Your works, O Lord! How deep are Your thoughts!
So....here we are FRIDAY!!!!!!! YAAY......and for many people we have a 3 day weekend due to the holiday, but is your celebration just because of that? Would it have been any different if there wasn't a holiday on Monday? The psalmist began this division telling us it is GOOD to give THANKS, and I want you to stop reading for just a few moments to THANK GOD for as much as you can remember concerning this week. Here's a song for you I WILL BLESS THE LORD (upbeat) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nR1UzUhPknc
So maybe that doesn't strike you....but the psalmist mentions YOU, GOD, have made me glad by what you've done.....have you taken time out to appreciate the beauty of creation. I included this pic of the Dezda Mountains in Africa, and how beautiful this picutre is, but so incomparable to being there and seeing and feeling God's beauty. STOP, and look at GOD's work....maybe you need to look at yourself, and love you! He created you....WOW! When He looks at you He smiles....no matter how you view yourself...GOD the CREATOR of the UNIVERSE looks upon you and SMILES! If you aint blushing.....I can't help you. Here's a song for you WONDERFUL MAKER http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_XQ7aWtypY
May your praise continue this day, beyond, and may your JOY be made full in Him, so that those who are starving for such JOY, may experience His JOY because of it being overflowing in you! LGLP.......... I LOVE YOU GUYS!
All throughout Psalms it is recorded the writers of it; singing. From feeling down and out, to triumphant you find them singing to God. I totally feel that many of us wait until Sunday to sing God's praises, losing out on the opportunity to praise Him during our trials, storms, and triumphs...so I WILL SING, the question is will you?

Will You: ALLOW YOUR WHOLE BEING TO SING?
Psalm 108:1: My heart is confident, God; I will sing; I will sing praises with the whole of my being.
So David knows that Saul and his men are closing in on him, and instead of getting into the fetal position and waiting for them to delivering the blow that will end his life, He remembers the mightiness of GOD. He actually reflects on the strength of GOD and his inability to fail, and says to himself...." my heart is confident, God,....." he literally encourages himself into praising GOD and not just with his lips but he said with my whole being (soul included). As a worship leader I am always amazed, encouraged, and sometimes brokenhearted by the response of the congregation. What is it that keeps people from lifting their hands, raising their voices, standing to their feet and taking full participation in the opportunity to proclaim the name of JESUS in worship service? It's super encouraging when you see men, women, and children giving themselves in worshipping GOD, especially considering that if you have any intentions on going to heaven, this is GREAT PRACTICE, cause you don't read that the Angels are doing anything less than praising Him in all eternity!
SO will you....allow your mind to reflect on GOD's promises to (never leave you, resuce you, to love you) you, not your problems so that you can give yourself away in praise? P.S. you don't have to wait til Sunday/Saturday either.....I drive past and alongside people that just don't care....and it's a blessing to me!
My song selections today are " I Give Myself Away" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ld1cXry5nyM
and "Encourage Yourself" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbEaftzaFWA&ob=av3e
Here's my warning if you have no intentions in losing yourself.......don't click onto I Give Myself Away.....it's a medley with Here I Am to Worship too, which makes it long.....and...well I don't anyone stopping their praise because of time.....
