Psalm 9:1-3 : 1 I will thank the LORD with all my heart; I will declare all Your wonderful works. 2 I will rejoice and boast about You; I will sing about Your name, Most High. .
So here we are Wednesay, hump day, and how will you approach it? Is there anything worth you singing about today? Is God worth your praises because it was Him who carried you through Monday/Tuesday? The psalmist mentioned that I will rejoice and boast about you so do people even know about how good, or how great your God is? Pictured above is a snapshot of me in Memphis 2010, after a long, hot day in the sun spreading the Gospel to the kids of Memphis. I had showered and decided to go outside to hangout with not just my Calvary family members, but there was another church there doing God's work. Someone mentioned that I could sing, and that was all HE WROTE......God wasn't surprised about my praise, He knew that when given the opportunity I will lift my hands, I will raise my voice, I will rejoice over what He's done and is doing, and all I want to know......is Four things:
1) Will you thank the Lord with your whole heart? Not just your lips....but from the depths of your heart?
2) How will you declare His wonderful works?
3) Will you rejoice & boast about HIM?
4) Will this reflection, lead you to singing about Him?

If you truly LGLP (Love God and Love People) this should be easy for you
All throughout Psalms it is recorded the writers of it; singing. From feeling down and out, to triumphant you find them singing to God. I totally feel that many of us wait until Sunday to sing God's praises, losing out on the opportunity to praise Him during our trials, storms, and triumphs...so I WILL SING, the question is will you?

In Despair (Will You Still Sing?)
Psalm 13:1-6 NIV - : 5 But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. 6 I will sing the LORD’s praise, for he has been good to me.
David felt that God had hid his face from him, and just wondered how long will this last, God. I don't know what all of you are going through (school, finances, marital, maybe just down right relational issues with God or man) but at somepoint in the downward spiral you have to extend your arms and feet to stop your descent and do as David did, and said....BUT I trust (not in me, or my abilities) BUT I trust in G0d's unfailing (His great everlasting, immeasureable) love for me. Second, when have you just allowed your heart to rejoice in this knowlege? I mean when have you allowed your heart to be overtaken with Christ's death for you, that you loss yourself in worshipping Him? You know in doing so, you put your issues in proper perspective, beneath you & your Father. So lastly, will you make it a point today that you sing God's praises through you life just because, He's been good to you? Don't wait til Sunday, or small group.....why not make your car, or desk space, or home your personal sanctuary that whoever is on the outside......is blessed by what is going on, in the inside.
